Last night I had dreams of the Molten Core raid with my guild. Also, there was something about summer and dating, plus having to sneak around somewhere filled with assassins, I think.
Cora’s parents brought me a small pie yesterday when they visited. I had two slices for lunch today and then the rest later on tonight while playing. I also cut a small slice for Shawn. You know, so I didn’t eat the whole thing myself today.
Cora and her parents returned today with the large wooden bed her father made for her. We moved that inside and while he was here, her dad fixed up Ryan’s couch and her sister vacuumed our living room. Also, we donated our fake-leather couch to… somewhere. Less seating room in the living room now. Damn.
I worked on my website this afternoon. The journal now looks closer to the layout I created for the rest of the site. I’m taking suggestions, if you’ve got any (though I won’t necessarily listen to them).
While working, I watched the 1983 movie ‘The Dead Zone.’ I bought it about four months ago and never watched it. I like the TV series a lot more but the movie was kind of cool. Some parts were very similar to the show and other parts were very different. Actually, there was a second season episode that worked as an alternate reality thing and the stuff that happens in it is pretty much what happens in the original movie.
I watched ‘The Cable Guy’ after that. Not a great movie, but I still really like it.
Cora and I split a pizza for dinner and then I played WoW. I got the [Magister's Bindings] but they’re not as good as the bracers I already had. They’re still good to have though so I can eventually get the whole Magister’s Regalia set.
I finished two more parts done in working towards my key to Onyxia’s lair. Just one more part and hopefully I can get it done early tomorrow afternoon/evening so I can participate in the raid on Onyxia tomorrow night. That will be damn cool.
Funny, yesterday I was talking about how I had nothing to do this weekend. Yet, as much as I’d like to be going out and doing stuff with friends, I also still like just hanging out here and playing games all night. I guess that’s good since I won’t have people around all the time. I just have to make sure I take advantage of it when people are around to do stuff.
Oh, and apparently Joe doesn’t want me to talk about World of Warcraft all the time. Sucks that it’s quite often the only interesting part of my day!

So I like the new layout for the most part. It is nice and simple. I don’t like the buttons at the top linking to the old site, and other places. At least on this computer, the colours look funny. I’m not sure what I would change about them though. Maybe simple boxes in a row beneath the main banner image but before the previous/next entry links. Anyways, looks good overall.
May 1, 2005 @ 1:35 pmThe colors look funny how?
Originally I was going to have buttons beneath the main banner but then when I managed to decide on how I wanted the main banner to look, I realized that buttons sitting right beneath that blue box would look… out of place.
May 1, 2005 @ 11:10 pmThey look like tacky early to mid 90s crappy webpage buttons that everyone made with their favourite button making application.
May 2, 2005 @ 12:02 pmI think that is why I don’t like them.
Damn, and here I was all proud that I made the buttons from scratch in Photoshop (helped by a tutorial).
