It wasn’t until about 1:30am tonight that I realized the cereal I thought I had for breakfast this morning… was actually from yesterday. This morning I got up, quickly got ready and headed right to campus (to talk to a prof who was busy when I got there so I have to go back tomorrow). So no breakfast. And no lunch, either. Damn.
So when I finally made dinner at 2am, it was devoured quickly.
The guild raid on Molten Core continued tonight. We beat two new bosses (new in that our guild hadn’t before killed them): Baron Geddon and Shazzrah. The first of those two dropped an [Arcanist Mantle] which was given to me. Sweet! My first epic item!
After those two bosses, we made two attempts on Golemagg the Incinerator (the next boss) and then stopped. That was after six hours in there. Craziness. With 40 or so people in there with me though, the time flies by like I’m just hanging out with friends.
The VP turned President from 24 was on the latest Enterprise. His character was much more confident, too. The past two episodes of Enterprise though… I dunno. I guess I was expecting more from them when it seems nothing really happened. It felt like the writers were trying something completely different in an effort to save the show, though it’s already been cancelled.
The latest Doctor Who had an interesting take on the last Dalek in existence. It was kind of neat and I’m glad they found a way to bring them back.
24… damn. I remember the beginning of the season when I was bummed that none of the best characters were doing what they did best. Now we’ve got Bauer, Almeida, Dessler and Palmer all back kicking ass. So nice!
It’s just unfortunate that heroes can never hold on to girlfriends.
Oh, and I picked up a couple cases of Coke with Lime. It’s good. Not a really strong lime flavour, which I think is better than the strong lemon flavour they had going with the diet Coke. Anyway, the Coke with Lime kind of reminds me of mixed alcoholic drinks. It’s weird. Memories of mixing stupid amounts of vodka with Coke.
