For the past 2 weeks I’ve been trying to get up at 10am to work on this outstandingly late assignment of mine. Somehow, I had this feeling that getting up at 10am meant everything would be solved, however I could never quite do it. Today I managed 10am but well, it wasn’t all that great.
Got a postcard from Joe today from when he was vacationing in BC. He circled the hotel he stayed at and it’s the same one I stayed in with my parents that weekend we went to Vancouver for a hockey game… years and years ago. I think the Canucks lost that one.
Cora and I went to a wedding reception tonight (some friend of hers). When I sat in the car (she had rented earlier), she handed me some directions she had printed out and I navigated us to where they led. Unfortunately, it was to the correct address but in Cambridge, not Kitchener. Nice.
We grabbed directions in a corner store and managed to get to the reception just in time for the end of the receiving line. There was a brief ring ceremony, some speeches and then some dancing. I grabbed a slice of cheesecake and we took off.
Joe arrived here just after we returned and we headed to Bomber with Ryan and Melissa. Hung out on the patio until it more people left and there was generally lots of drinking.
Very drunk, back here, ordered a bunch of food, watched Friends and passed out.
