Took the bus to work this morning. I walked to campus and caught it there when I should have saved myself some time and caught at Albert and Columbia. Oh well.
Today just flew by. We had to watch a WHMIS video that lasted forty minutes so that took up a portion of the morning. I caught a good 20-minute nap there which was kind of nice.
The rest of the day I spent chatting with Chris. I met him yesterday but didn’t get to work with him until today. After working with Sergio, I was worried that everyone would be like him but it seems that’s not the case, which is great. Anyway, Chris is 21 but seems more mature than that. We had all kinds of stuff to talk about and we kept zoning out, focusing on the conversation at hand and didn’t even realize we were working. Even lunch and breaks caught us off guard, which was damn nice. He’s having a kegger Saturday night that I might go to. We’ll see.
You know the desks where the chair and desk are attached to the same frame? I spent the morning screwing the chairs to the frames for stuff like that. How exciting.
I walked home from work today. Chris lives on Albert, too, but closer to University. He figured it would take me an hour and forty minutes but it was just under an hour, which was nice.
When I got back, I had a shower and participated in my guild raid. But I was tired and kept lying on my bed between pulls which turned into me falling asleep periodically. I really wasn’t into it and at eleven thirty I told them good luck and left to get ready and head to bed.
My hands, feet and back hurt. Actually, my back’s quite a bit better after the naps in awkward positions on my bed but my hands still sore.
