After work, I rushed to Futureshop to buy the product service plan warranty thing for my new camera. Funny how normally hen I buy stuff there I have to beat off the employees with a stick, trying to just buy the item and not the service plan. Yet today all I wanted was to buy one and I couldn’t find anyone to sell it to me.
Went to see ‘The Island’ tonight with Cora, Laura, Shawn and Jon. When we all met up at the theatre, I pointed out Jonathan to Cora and while I was getting our tickets, she went and introduced herself to him. Except he had no idea who she was and wondered why this strange girl was talking to him. Did she work there or was she just hitting on him?
You know, the movie seemed to have very little advertising compared to the other summer blockbusters out now and almost slipped under my radar but man was it ever a cool movie. I totally loved it. The story was cool and intelligent and the technology in it was damn sweet without being totally unrealistic. It was just a damn cool movie - I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did.
We went and hung out at The Keg for a while after the movie, which was pretty cool. I might have to add it to the small list of restaurants I frequent.
