Woke up to Laura on the phone followed by an hour of guild politics. Bluetard, a great player and friend of Shawn and I left the guild over stupid stuff so Shawn and I chatted with a bunch of other guildmates on the Ventrilo server for a while, explaining and talking things out.
It’s common for guild politics to get Shawn down, but I was feeling it today, too. I want to say it’s like a bunch of your friends arguing but that’s really what it is. Sure, World of Warcraft is a game, but we’re playing it with real people we talk to every day. I’ll miss Bluetard if he really is gone for good. He was a great mage.
Laura and I went out this afternoon with the intention of her practicing her driving before her exam on Tuesday morning. Mainly practicing of parallel parking, backing in and remembering to do all the silly unnecessary checks they want you to do.
But we had to pick her sisters up from work first and they weren’t ready so we sat in the Pizza Hut lobby and drank free pop while we waited. With them in tow, we had to stop at Zehrs so they could get food. While there, we picked up some stuff we needed, too. Laura grabbed a couple boxes of fruit snacks (Ninja Turtles and Care Bears) but then decided she only wanted one. Never wanting to be helpful, she decided the best place to put the extra box back was hiding in a bunch of non-food things.

After Zehrs, we dropped her sisters off at their place but it was locked and no one had a key so we had to break in. Of course, two minutes after Laura crawled into the second story window, her parents showed up anyway. Meh.
While out driving, we passed Classy Auto, which was anything but. To give you an idea of how not classy it was, check out their sign…

Yeah, if that doesn’t say classy, I don’t know what does.

I resisted the guild raid tonight in favour of doing more important stuff but at the end, they really needed another experienced mage so I helped them out for the last two Molten Core bosses. In-between those fights, one guy left to tend to his girlfriend.
