Laura took and passed her drivers exam for her full licence today. Because of that, her mom dropped her off and picked her up. I waited with her at the end of the day and her mom gave me a gingerbread cookie. It was delicious but not as good as home made. They never are. I find yogurt, eggnog and baked goods never are, though they usually share the same root taste.

Tomorrow is Jackie’s last day and we’re heading to McDonald’s to celebrate her freedom. I’m excited for McChickens! Jackie’s one of the last few good students left and now she’s leaving. Damn.
