a sporadic self-chronicle since 2001

Today was Laura’s last day at work. It’ll suck balls to not have her around anymore and after work we hung out chatting with Grant and Jeff about how she’ll be missed.

After work, Laura and I headed to Toronto. Her place is in the heart of The Village, or half a block away from the old Maple Leaf Gardens. Her landlady, a transsexual, fills the landings and entranceways with plants in the spring and summer so it all looks quite nice.

We headed to the bar and grill across the street for dinner where the gay waiters were far superior to any of the straight ones in Kitchener/Waterloo. As we were heading out, the waiter informed us that Bear Night had begun already inside. Excellent.

After dinner, we picked up snacks at a corner store beside her place. A big pile of mostly garbage food: Vanilla Clodhoppers, Salt and Vinegar Goldfish, Pop-Tarts, candy Coke bottles and Sushi.

Unfortunately, we fell asleep before we really got into any of it.

may they never forget you
