Robyn and Rachel arrived early this afternoon. They’re going with Laura to see Disturbed play tonight.

We hung out for a while in Laura’s place before the three of them escorted me to the Greyhound station.

Man, I should always have such an escort when I’m out on my own.
Heh, scenes from a bus…

And it was nice to be back in Waterloo…

My earache has moved down to my throat now. I guess that’s better since a sore throat seems less bad. So do I bother seeing someone about this or will it jut get better on its own?
Shawn bought himself a melon on Friday. I had a slice Saturday afternoon before I took off but he devoured the rest. The skin to it all has been in the garbage since Saturday afternoon and while I was gone, it attracted a hoard of fruit flies. Just a tonne of them. I took out the garbage tonight but who knows when the tiny little flies will all die off.
Ryan starts grad school tomorrow. Class from 8:30 - 5pm, casual dress and laptops. All this for the next 12 months. Rough. So tomorrow he begins all that. In addition, he’s going to try to eat healthier, including less eating out. This aids my desire to eat out less, too.
Before all that though, he and I went out for McDonald’s. On the way, I discovered that his car is a hot spot for spiders. You know those small green, almost clear ones? I must have spotted 10-20 of them in and outside the car while waiting in the drive-thru and on the trip there and back.
And so begins me not seeing Laura every day. Very unfun indeed.
