Woke up an hour late this morning. I was having weird dreams where I was raiding with my guild and we had this new strategy where I had to be really big. Somehow my alarm getting louder helped that but it was annoying me so I dropped group and decided to just sleep. I figure that was when I shut off my alarm and went back to bed. Oops.
So I got in to work an hour late or so. Didn’t matter much since my boss was at a meeting at the other plant with all the higher-ups. Later, I heard it was “a bad meeting.”
I spent all day at a drill press. You know how some computer desks have holes in them for the monitor/mouse/keyboard cords to go through? I spent all day drilling those holes in desktops. 139 in total. Took all day.
An entourage of customers from Michigan came through the plant this afternoon and watched me drilling these holes for like 5 minutes while one of the higher ups from Heidt lectured them on stuff from the summer that I knew was largely corporate BS.
even though I worked on my own all day, I had all kinds of things to think about to keep me awake:
The singing was pretty much constantly going on in the background of my mind while I thought about mainly my book, the weekend (which includes Laura, obviously) and my new World of Warcraft gear. Ha. I’m a loser.
After work, I came back and got a haircut. While waiting for my appointment, I saw the brochures that contain $5 off coupons so I nabbed one and used it.
I grabbed a $5 pizza for dinner and ate it while sitting around waiting for forty minutes with my guild, hoping for more warriors to show up so we could attempt the next boss in Blackwing Lair. It eventually got going but the long wait before anything really began put a bunch of people on edge and later on there was a lot of yelling going on between a handful of people on the chat server.
Shawn (Daxxon)’s application to Transcendence, another guild on our realm, is one of the most viewed posts they’ve ever had in their forums. Hell, everyone on our realm knows he’s left Dark Alliance and is an applicant to Trans now.
Today was a payday and in addition, Ryan finally paid me for bills. I’m rich! Well, until I pay all the bills, pay off some of Visa and settle other amounts owing…
Shawn went out with girls tonight to Oktoberfest things. Not sure how it went, though: He came home and immediately passed out in the living room.
god DAMN, i had wondered if there would be anything said on the zul’jin forums about me leaving. i guess there was.

Why do guild people never leave comments? It’d be so cool to see a comment left by someone from in-game.
