Leisurely afternoon. After work I picked up lunch from Subway and ate it at the bus terminal while I waited for my bus. I could have caught the earlier one to Toronto but Laura had stuff to do before meeting me so I read and watched people for a while in Kitchener.
When I met up with Laura in Toronto, we went back to her place, ordered pizza and fries for dinner and then caught a subway to Mike and Jill’s place. The subway kept us entertained with ads such as this one:

I’m sure it was actually advertising something, but I didn’t pay attention to what. Something for Halloween, I presume. There were other similar ones (with zombies, vampires etc.) but I didn’t take pictures of them as it was crowded and I look suspicious enough without walking around taking pictures amongst hoards of people.
Mike and Jill’s place is pretty cool. It’s of a comparable size to Dennis’ but maybe a little smaller, maybe a little newer and with hard wood floors and a home entertainment system that is ridiculously expensive. Good for watching stuff, though. Mike put on a baseball game when I came in, just so there was something high-def playing for me to drool over.

We went out, rented a movie (an arduous process in itself), grabbed some snacks and then returned to their place, smoked up and watched ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.’

On the subway ride home, the conductor came on the intercom and, in a voice remarkably similar to Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons, stated:
To the guy dancing the disco on the platform:
1. Do not dance on the yellow line.
2. Do not dance. You are not good.
