I was called to go back to work at Heidt starting Monday. It’s just for “a few weeks of work” so I figure they’ll lay me off again when the other workers take their week of paid Christmas vacation and that’ll be the end of it.

15 degrees outside today. Craziness for the end of November.

The mini Christmas tree went up today. So did all the other little Christmas things. Also, Shawn and I picked up two cartons of egg nog when we got groceries. It’s getting sorta’ like Christmas.

Laura and I checked out the Cavalcade of Lights First Lighting Celebration at Nathan-Phillips Square tonight. They kept it interesting with fireworks, varying performances and the “Ice Queen” who reminded me of the witch from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe… except that she had a gown of Christmas lights, staves that shot sparklers [...]

You must understand that more than half of my week is rather uneventful. If I forced myself to not write about World of Warcraft, I’d have a once-a-week blog like Shawn did when he tried not to write about it.

Very cold outside today. Lots of snow falling and blowing around. Had to hike to Kitchener to the employment office in a near whiteout. That was fun. At least being able to lose myself in the veil of snow was comforting.

A full year since the game came out. Seems like forever ago that we were just beginning our adventures in Azeroth.
The game automatically keeps track of your time played, per character, and displays it when you log onto that character. I thought it’d be kinda’ neat to add up all my playtimes between characters.
