Arrested:
Laura picked me up season one of Arrested Development today as repayment of the NIN ticket. A damn cool way to repay me. We watched some of it this afternoon with our pizza lunch, which was possibly the best pizza we’d ever had (even though we each had different stuff on our halves).

Lost:
I made time and tried out the Lost Coast Half-Life 2 level today. Turns out I didn’t really need to “make time” as it took all of 10 minutes to beat it. It was pretty cool to see the high dynamic range of lighting in action. At first it was just gimmicky outdoors stuff but when battling it out in an old chapel with afternoon sun streaming through the windows, those changes in light sure make a difference. And turning on a flashlight in a dark space is blinding until your “eyes” adjust to the lighting change. Damn cool.

Windstorm:
It’s been damn windy out there today. 66km an hour gusts. Not quite like those on Arrakis.

Thanksgiving, mod II:
Dinner at the Mortensen’s tonight was turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and banana cream pie. Everything a starving boy needs!

Defence:
I feel like I’ve been on the defensive a lot recently. Roommates, friends, plans… the works. I dunno. It’s probably just a single event that’s got me feeling bad in my stomach and thus worried about other shit, too.
