Went out to the Eaton Center with Laura and her friend while they did Christmas shopping. I found Advanced Wars: Dual Strike for only $40 (when it’s usually $50 everywhere) and I was so tempted to get it. Then I figured, if I’m getting a game for the DS, why not wait and spend an extra $10 to get Mario Kart DS which has online play? So that’s he plan. Hopefully.
The Hip have a best of album out. There’s also a DVD version of it that’s like $50. I originally thought I could easily pass up the DVD version but today in HMV I actually looked at what’s on it and now I really want it. Damn. Figures. The two audio CDs I’d buy anyway, a live Hip concert (always good), and all their music videos. So tempting… when I have money.
Nice night of Arrested Development and ‘Anchorman.’ I really value having nights where I can just hang out watching whatever with Laura. If last night served to distract, then tonight served to comfort.
