a sporadic self-chronicle since 2001

Very cold outside today. Lots of snow falling and blowing around. Had to hike to Kitchener to the employment office in a near whiteout. That was fun. At least being able to lose myself in the veil of snow was comforting.

Helped Shawn and Ricochet get their faction up in Silithus tonight. For my hours of aid, I received a pair of Abyssal Leather Leggings of Sorcery, something I had been eyeing in the auction house for a while. I was planning on buying a pair for my druid alt, which would have run me around 160 gold. Nice savings.

In addition, I also got a pair of Abyssal Cloth Pants of Sorcery, a cloth version of the above leggings. I hadn’t thought about it until they dropped, but they made a nice upgrade to the Spiritshroud Leggings my mage had previously.

well, that’s why i was confused, but i had to go to class before he could reply over msn and set the record straight!

but i do think there are some that could get a kick out of walking in a blizzard.

…. okay, haha, i’d probably walk in a blizzard for the fun of it, if i had snowpants and gloves and a hat on. and boots. you need boots for a blizzard.

normally i just have a three layer winter coat (the last layer is a sweat with a hood) and go out wearing running shoes. that’s not good for me or the shoes :(

i’d go, if i was bundled up and could go skating!!! just imagine, if the wind was strong enough, it could carry you around the ice rink!

then after, i would get a HUGE cup of hot chocolate to help warm me up. hot chocolate is good like that… always warming you up when you come inside from the cold.

I knew it would take me a while to get there and back so I was bundled up tight. The only cold part of me was my face from the wind.

And later when I started warming up, I realized just how cold my man-parts were. :-o

Cold man-parts are never good… I hate when my man-parts get cold, lol. I agree walking in a blizzard can be fun when bundled up, and skating is the best. I figure skated for 14 years and I miss it soo much. Someone better go skating with me over Christmas break.

I figure skated for a few years too! I started when I was 5, but then I convinced my parents to let me drop it (what were they thinking?!) .. so I picked it up again (willingly) when I was 11…but I was never as good as the younger ones because I started so late. :’(
