Laura picked up Animal Crossing today but after a frustrating time, we couldn’t get it working to let us visit each other’s towns.

Tonight, while trying to get connected with Laura, I had my town gate open and two of the guys from last night noticed and came in to visit. It was pretty cool to [...]

Work is very boring. The mind wanders. Today I was trying to think up some clever correlation or comparison…

Coke
Pepsi

red
blue

Liberal
Conservative

I was torn between wanting to vote for blue and Coke at the same time. The simple solution was to colour Coke blue.
I joined an online DS community tonight and had a few people visit my town [...]

My alarm clock froze at 0:03am today while it was going off at 5-something in the morning. It was really weird and I had to take out the backup batteries and unplug the thing to get it to stop displaying 0:03.
Picked up my Tier 2 Netherwind Pants tonight, killing Ragnaros. For some odd reason, I [...]

Hate to leave Toronto. To leave Laura. Always do.
Now it’s back here. Back to life. Back to work.
My World of Warcraft account is up and running again, so that’s at least some distraction.

Dr Pepper with cherry and vanilla. A combination like that apparently requires Aspartame. So delicious, though.
Laura and I made a spicy vegetarian couscous dinner tonight. Got to practice my sauté method and things turned out rather well.

Pictures of the food, of course, are provided for Alison.
Laura and I headed over to visit Mike for the [...]

Laura and I walked around downtown, past where the shooting was around Boxing Day. There’s a shrine there to the girl that died. It’s kind of creepy but I suppose people erect shrines where people died all the time.

Frozen berries are delicious. Especially when they’re made into smoothies.
James came over, we got high and I [...]

Ryan and I tested out more of the stuff on his 7 in 1 games table. We didn’t bother with table tennis since the table is only a meter long but we tried out air hockey. It worked… but very poorly. Really, the thing’s just good for foosball.
Otherwise, my day was filled with Animal Crossing, [...]

Shawn, Ryan and I went out for groceries tonight and stopped in at Futureshop on the way. Shut up, it is on the way.
Anyway, I found a copy of Animal Crossing: Wild World sitting there. I have no idea how it got there since every store in town has been sold out since December, but [...]

So I don’t work this Friday. Officially, I’m taking a one-day vacation with pay. The real reason is that the company is doing some forklift training day for all the supervisors and forklift drivers. With no supervisors, they can’t actually run things so no one’s supposed to come in. That’s the real reason. However, I [...]

Let’s talk about the Phil Hendrie Show.
It’s a radio show where the guy has guests come on who always have something ridiculously stupid to say… except that the host is actually the guests – he does voices for them all.
So it’s really just him in the studio and people get so riled up listening to [...]
