A few weeks back, Laura and I went to a dollar store. We bought a number of fun things, including laser pointers and a pack of Nintendo-themed candy: “Nintendo Surprise.”

I finally got around to opening the package and, not surprisingly, it’s all kind of trashy. Looks like it was manufactured in 2002 so the fact that it’s all dried out and some of it is melting isn’t a surprise, either.

Oh well, it was cool in theory and it was only a dollar – and a Canadian one at that!
