These next three weeks at work are the busiest time of the year for patio. Today upper management came over and had a meeting with us where they tried to motivate us to work harder and put in more overtime. Really, all they ended up doing was pissing off the employees. As an example, they want us to stay until 5pm tomorrow. Most were planning on staying until 3 before the meeting and now they’re thinking of just leaving at noon. Ah yes, and it seems it’s motivated them to search for new jobs. Nice.

I played the demo for Prey tonight and it was so damn cool. I had been looking forward to it and it didn’t disappoint at all. So cool. I kind of want to pre-order it, but it comes out while I’m in BC and I don’t know if they’ll hold on to it for me for a week. Have to look into that.

I also finished Half-Life 2: Episode One tonight and it was awesome. The ending was kind of an abrupt fade to white but the sequence and effects leading up to it, coupled with the preview for Episode Two gave it a good episodic-type ending. Definitely left me wanting more.
