After spending a week at my parents’ place, with their clean walls and washroom and their new everything, coming home to my place really reminded me of how dirty and crappy it is. I didn’t think to take pictures of my parents’ place while I was there, so I figured I’d do the next best thing: Take pictures of Laura’s bathroom. It’s equally clean, just not quite as new.

See? Pretty!

And mine is horrendous.
Okay, so I might have turned the contrast up a little on my photos. Still, it’s like living in Tyler Durden’s house on Paper Street.
I went across the street to buy bread and milk and the debit machine wasn’t working - it didn’t have an active phone line. Unfortunately, I’m not sure the lady understood what the problem really was so she kept just trying it over and over again. Then she started playing with the machine to the point where it wouldn’t even scan a card anymore. By this point, nearly 10 minutes have passed and there’s a line of impatient people waiting behind me so I just told her to forget it and left. I’ll have to go back later for the food. So frustrating.
Also, I stayed at home to apply to jobs again today.

I should maybe mention that I went and cleaned the heck out of my toilet after taking that picture. It really was gross.
Now it looks as clean as possible. The only dirtiness is under the rim but you have to get really close and specifically look to see it.
