As a housewarming gift, Laura’s mom offered to reupholster my couch. Now that her last daughter has left home to head to school, I guess she’s looking for projects to keep her busy so she decided to do it this weekend and I’ll be damned if she didn’t finish the whole thing in just a couple days.

It’s excellently soft. She made a good choice on the fabric.

Ryan finally scanned and sent me the pages of his wedding guide pertaining to my best-manly duties. I’d make some comment about him waiting until three weeks before the wedding to let me know all the things I should have been doing already…. but I procrastinate almost as much as he does so whatev =p

wow that looks fantastic. that is something i need to learn how to do!!!!
October 24, 2006 @ 9:14 amIt wouldn’t work so well with just any couch. I mean, most couches have fabric all over them - this one was ideal since the frame was wood and only the cushions needed to be covered.
October 24, 2006 @ 9:31 amnow you just need to refinish the wood frame, and it’ll be as good as new!
October 25, 2006 @ 9:28 amTrue, but I’m not in any big rush to do it. It’s pretty damn nice as is right now.
