I’m taking home my extra shoes tonight. One of my coworkers advised me not to leave anything here overnight in case one morning the place is just locked up and closed for good =p

Of my two supervisors, one comes in around 8:30 and leaves at noon every day. The other is here at like 7:30 but then disappears at 8am and is in meetings or hiding all day long so I can talk to him before work officially begins, or try and spot him in-between meetings. Because of all this, me being late wouldn’t really matter. This morning, I slept, skipped breakfast, caught a different bus, walked twice as far as normal and was still the 2nd one here.

No one’s putting in extra hours with the constant fear of the place closing. The hourly workers aren’t allowed to, because they want to save money (and not pay overtime) and us salaried people are ushered out the door every night because the people with keys want to get the hell out of here. Ahh… dedication.
