I wish I had a penis
    -Mike Ruth

Laura and I finished the last season of Roswell this afternoon. She didn’t like the end but I didn’t expect her to. It was too much of a hippie / feel good ending for her. I agree that it wasn’t great, but really, how else do you end a show like that? There’s a big change and they get out of town but their adventures continue. That’s about the only ending possible.

There could never be an ending where everything is resolved. What would you want? They all become not aliens suddenly? Or everyone dies? It was the only way to end it.

Laura and I watched the new episode of Battlestar Galactica, Collaborators, this afternoon and it just might be the best show ever. Ryan agrees. Spoilers to follow…

All three of us are ridiculously attached to the characters - and were terribly afraid that they would kill Gaeta… right to the point of yelling at the screen for him to tell the chief that he was the informant. Though it made sense that he wouldn’t beg and would feel pretty hopeless after Starbuck turned her back on him. I think that whole thing was done very well.

As for Jammer, I kinda’ wished he could have been part of the pardon but I guess it shows that they had to make tough calls. The chief seemed to really regret it, especially after he found out that Jammer really did save Kalley. Laura was doubly sad because she thought Jammer was hot and they always kill the boys she likes (Billy, Boone in Lost etc.). Of course, she still has Anders, but he’s sad now that Starbuck’s all crazy for vengeance.

And what do they do for you? They make multiple versions of your attractive girls. I hate you!

Laura and I found this gem this afternoon:

We did not buy it.

We met up with Mike and Jill for dinner at pub and then went back to their place and watched ‘Derailed.’ Laura bought it previously viewed last weekend and none of us had seen it before, only heard it was good. Turns out, it really is. A lot of plot turns none of us saw coming. Mind you, it helped that we didn’t know anything about the movie at all beforehand.

I got all kinds of guilt.

AHAHAHAHA! The Gingerdead Man. Seeing that again made me laugh out loud while sitting here by myself. I’m a loser, but seriously, it’s so hilarious. Who comes up with these things… and who buys them?

And how did they get Gary Busey do voice that thing?

It was probably part of his parole for one of his many drug offenses, heh.
