I spent most of Halloween in schools, continuing the inventory. It’s weird seeing kids in Jason masks because they are a) too young to have watched such movies and b) too many years removed from those movies to even know them. Well, I guess there was that ‘Freddie vs. Jason’ recently. Still, they’re too young for that stuff.

It seems like most attractive women at Halloween always just choose the simple, slutty costumes. Bunny, cat, demon. You know, add some ears/horns, a tail, and a tight, slutty black dress. Maybe a nurse, where they put on a nurse hat and a white dress. And as a point of interest, young teachers seem to be no exception.

Mind you, when I was in Sobey’s at lunch today, I saw a couple girls wearing non-slutty costumes and was thoroughly unimpressed. The traditional mummy and pale-faced zombie - definitely not flattering to those particular girls.

So the slutty costumes bug me because it’s the easy way out (ears, tail and slutty clothes they’d wear anyway) and non-flattering costumes bug me because they’re boring.

I guess what I really want is for girls to have awesome costumes. Like a headcrab zombie military guy carrying a grenade - straight out of Episode One:
