Janet was admitted to Brockville General Hospital early Monday morning and was quickly transferred to Kingston General Hospital. She was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia.
Unfortunately, the acute leukemia affected her organs. Her kidneys had stopped producing urine and had completely failed by Wednesday morning. She had a severe infection in her lungs which needed her to [...]

I got back into playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker tonight and was up far too late playing. The reason I had stopped playing before was that I was just overwhelmed. There was all this pressure and stress because there was so much to do and I didn’t know how or where it [...]

World of Warcraft has been around for two years now. Looking at our payment history, Ryan and I have each paid for 20 months @ $14.99 USD per month = $314.79 USD
After the purchase price of the game and the currency conversion, we’ve definitely put more than $400 towards this game. Of course, it also [...]

The plant workers had to turn in their uniforms today. Cost-saving or preparation for closure? Oh, probably both.
All the layoffs last month and before? Cost-saving schemes: If they’re fired, they have to be given severance. But if they lay people off and go out of business, they can’t be expected to pay them anything.

The #2 guy has resigned. Next Friday will be his last day. When I was told, it was attributed to his wife’s due date (for her pregnancy, not for expiry) being early December and that being a big stress. Sure, that’s probably part of it, but I know that he just hates the way things [...]

For secrecy purposes, I renamed my resume file “eponymous work document” before opening it to work on this afternoon.
On the walk home, as I passed a bus stop, someone grabbed my arm and stopped me. When I turned to see who it was, it was that black woman who used to serve us in the [...]

I caught the #2 guy out in the plant today, where he was much less politically correct than he usually is in the office. He’s pretty upset with the way the owner’s driving the company into the ground and it sounds like he plans to get out of here before the company goes into receivership. [...]
