Laura and I watched the Sci-Fi miniseries ‘The Lost Room‘ and it positively rocked my socks. I mean, it was great to see Peter Krause in something again but the story itself was really cool.

It was just an excellent fantasy story. A protagonist on a noble quest, motivated by love of his daughter, finds himself in a situation in our usual world, but with unusual items of great and unusual powers which must be located, understood and used to solve the overall puzzle. It really was quite well done. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’d definitely buy it on DVD if Sci-Fi ever released it.

The little fiber optic Christmas tree Laura got me is just packed full of presents. Most of them are for me to give to others, but it still makes me happy to see it so full.
