Laura and I spent all afternoon in the Sunrise Plaza today.
The deal was that in order to take the car to Ryan’s for New Year’s Eve tomorrow, we had to have the oil changed first. We brought the car in to Canadian Tire just after one this afternoon and then it wasn’t ready until just before four.
In the mean time, Laura and I managed to hit nearly every store in the area. At least, all the relevant ones: Microplay, Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart, Old Navy (good boxing week savings!), Bulk Barn, Short Stop, Ardene’s and la Vie en Rose.
Of course, we had to walk to all these places. It’s terrible how these big box plazas are designed for people to drive around in them - very few people actually walk around. Most people looked at us like we were crazy.

underground tunnel systems! that’s what they need for the pedestrians. and it’ll keep you out of the cold too. then they could have conveyors, like they do at airports!
