Top Movies of 2006
1. The Prestige
2. Stranger than Fiction
3. V for Vendetta
4. X-Men 3
5. Hard Candy
6. Thank You For Smoking
7. Little Miss Sunshine
8. A Scanner Darkly
A few things to mention: Silent Hill + Ultravoilet = poor movies that I enjoyed for aesthetic reasons. They were both really pretty, in completely different ways.
Children of Men I’ve heard is excellent. It was released December 24 (or 25?) of this year but in a very limited release. Because of this, I’ll throw it in my 2007 list instead, since that’s when it will be fully released to theatres.
Superman Returns, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Saw III and Talledega Nights are all movies that I enjoyed but not enough to throw them in my list of top movies.

Ah, isn’t music wonderful! Didn’t put the new killer’s album up there?
January 25, 2007 @ 11:20 amI wasn’t a really big fan. Mind you, I only listened to it all the way through twice. However those two listens didn’t entice me to continue listening to it. Thus, it wasn’t good enough to make it onto the lists. Perhaps it is and I just have to give it more time to grow on me but as of the end of 2006 I wasn’t nuts over it.
What’d you think of Sam’s Town, Mike?
January 25, 2007 @ 5:52 pmI find that Killers’ music takes me a long time to get in to. The first album took me months of listening before I finally realized that I like every single song on it. The second album went on heavy rotation in the car and now I really enjoy it. You should definitely keep trying it.
January 28, 2007 @ 12:03 amI’m a retard and completely forgot about ‘Inside Man’ - that definitely deserves to be in my top movies of 2006. Oops.
