Dexter is a fantastically cool show. Laura and I just finished watching season one. It was only 12 episode but they were excellent episodes. Thankfully, it’s been renewed for a 2nd season and it’s apparently quite the hit. Way to go Showtime.

There was another company looking to buy ours: They put in a really low bid a couple weeks ago, which was rejected, and then came in with a new bid at the beginning of last week. They were here all week, performing due diligence, but on [...]

Star decided not to buy us so today Heidt Products went into receivership.
Why did they decide not to? No one knows for sure. Things seemed pretty definite so something must have spooked them. Either that or they realized it was a bad idea.

Not much to say. I sat and watched Laura and her sister ice cookies this afternoon. After I “helped” last year, I wasn’t allowed to aid them this year. Apparently I don’t bring the skillz required. I didn’t mind - I prefer to sit on the sidelines and eat the cookies anyway.

On our way home, Dennis, Joe and I stopped in at Futureshop and Best Buy. Joe bought me Quake 4 as a belated birthday present so I installed that tonight while Laura napped.
