Interesting first day on the phones. My first call wasn’t so bad except I missed something and had to call him back to clear it up. It wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t too good, either. The job itself I didn’t mind but my problem was all the little things that weren’t covered in training, the random one-offs and things that are different from the norm… which are the most common cases, of course.
All these unknown situations meant I had to ask someone which meant a lot of waiting around for them to be able to help and a lot fo customers waiting on hold. Almost every time, it took longer for my superiors to come over to help than for them to actually help me.

Anyway, the first day on the phones is done now. Thankfully I won’t have to repeat it. I’m sure it’ll get better every day and I don’t think I’ll dislike the actual job once I’m used to it and more comfortable. But for now, while I’m in learning, it’s just frustrating not being able to quickly handle it all on my own. I remember hating the last job I had in my first week on my own, too.
Battlestar Galactica
A Day In the Life
It was interesting overall but my favourite parts were the two intimate (though non-sexual) scenes between Bill and Roslin. What’s up with them? In the past it seems as if the two of them had feelings for each other but would leave it as an old-person crush and not act upon it. I guess I’m thinking of them hanging out together on New Caprica here.
But now… I dunno. It definitely seems as though they’ve somewhat admitted their feelings to each other. Almost seems like they’re willing to try something, too. I’m not really sure where their conversation was leading. But then, they probably don’t know, either. I guess that’s how relationships always begin though, right?
