Ah, how fun that games install at ~6 GB now, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl being the one today.
It’s pretty cool but feels kind of clunky in parts. The general idea’s kind of neat and the random radiation anomalies scattered around are damn cool.

As for the somewhat slow and sluggish feel, it reminds me of [...]

First day of 4-12. When I arrived, I checked my future schedule to discover that my shift switched to 1-9pm beginning next week. Half an hour later, Raj came by to tell us that if we wanted to, we could start a 1-9pm shift beginning tomorrow. Score.
So tonight was my first and last 4pm [...]

Last night as we left Abstract, some guy followed us out and said goodbye to Rachel before heading to his car. Laura made some comment about how he ignored the rest of us and only said goodbye to Rachel because he just wanted to see her naked.

Today’s 4:20 thought from The Edge…

We did our [...]

Tomorrow my training class is doing a potluck at work. Not being much of a chef on my own, I volunteered to do cheese and crackers.

Even if I don’t bring any of the cheese on that plate home, I’ll be eating the other leftover cheese in my fridge for weeks.

I haven’t felt much like [...]

Was I excited about Local Number Portability beginning today? Well I was about the free pen and food that was available in the lunch room today, but that’s about it.

Will it be a big deal? We’ll see. I imagine the amount of customers leaving the company will probably be about equal to those coming in [...]

Yesterday I made Kraft Dinner + wieners for dinner for the first time since I moved out of 511 Albert Street. I bought this big case of KD when I moved into my new place last September but hadn’t had a single box yet.
So I made the stuff and expected the whole thing to last [...]

On my first listen through the new Finger Eleven album, it definitely sounds like something suited to summer. I guess we’re getting close to it. I really like the first single and the video for it is pretty cool but the rest of the album didn’t really grab me. The more energetic songs were alright, [...]
