Laura and her sister have been bugging their mother to get a Basset Hound for a while now and this week, their mother finally gave in…

So today I met the new puppy, Lucy. She’s young and hyper and bitey.

…and she likes sleeping on her back (me too!).

Today, Lucy met the neighbor’s big Husky…

…and they instantly fell in love. Or something. It’s pretty funny to see how excited she gets over other dogs - she was raised with other big dogs so they don’t scare her at all, which is very cool.
