Dennis and I braved bad traffic and a lack of food to make it to Joe and Lisa’s rehearsal on time tonight.

Afterwards there was a bit of a social at Joe’s parents’ place.

Once that was all done, me, Stephen, Thai and Steve Maddiss went back to Steve’s place for the night. While others went to bed, I secluded myself in the washroom and wrote a toast to Joe for the reception tomorrow. The cats knew I was in there though and kept slipping their cute little (declawed) paws under the door to get my attention. When I’d open the door to let them in though, they’d just sit there and stare at me with their giant dilated eyes, much like the cat in ‘Shrek 2′.

So I wrote it, start to finish and can finally head to bed. It isn’t anything super but I think it’s pretty good. Hopefully Joe will like it =)
