Today was Laura’s birthday so after work I headed over to her parents’ place to partake in the cake her sister made for her:

Illinoise is a pretty amazing album. I discovered it a month ago but hadn’t really listened to it until this week. It’s very different, more of a folk-rock style but really well done. It also includes what might be the saddest song I’ve ever heard.
