A lot of the time when I’m looking for new books to buy, I look for ones I haven’t read by authors I already know I like. It seems the safer choice.

It was perhaps three months ago when I was in a Chapters last and I picked up a couple Neil Gaiman books I hadn’t yet read. American Gods was one of them and the other was Stardust, which I just started into a couple days ago.

Interestingly enough, it seems to be matching the plot for a movie of the same name, which Laura and I saw a trailer for last week. I remember the trailer so well because Laura, the woman who never wants to go see movies in theaters, actually wants to go see it.

So it appears that the book I’m reading, which is pretty good so far, has been made into a movie, of the same title.
