a sporadic self-chronicle since 2001

This morning, Laura and I went out for breakfast to Le Triskell Creperie with Kris and Sandra. It was both delicious and cheap! Definitely my new favorite breakfast place though really, it’s the only breakfast place I know in town.

Following that, we hung out with Kris and Sandra for a while. Looked for wedding gifts at the mall, dropped Sandra off at work and waited in line at Okanagan College with Kris for an hour to pay his tuition. Following that, Laura and I packed up and drove down to Penticton for the weekend.

On our way into town, we stopped in at the Tin Whistle to pick up some of their peach beer. Not having actually tried it before, the super-friendly (but in a cool way, not a creepy one) guy there let us have a taste. It’s not really sweet but does have a bit of a peach taste so it’s pretty good.

Laura and my parents went for dinner to some Indian restaurant in Oliver that my mother had read a good review of in a local magazine. In the mean time, I went to the wedding rehearsal with JJ and all the others.

Once we had some idea of what we’d do the following day, we headed north to Jenn’s parents’ place for a little social afterwards.

As everyone left, JJ and I drove out to Skaha beach to hang out, shoot some hoops (poorly) and talk for a bit. I guess he’s got some important stuff to do tomorrow or something.
