There are a lot of Quail in the area here and they really like hanging out on the property. Not surprising, since Louise puts out all kinds of birdseed in her multiple feeders and not altogether unpleasant as they’re generally funny to watch.

Unfortunately, the pheasants seem to enjoy spending their afternoons hanging out in the driveway:

…and when Laura returns from work, she has to honk the horn and wait for them to slowly disperse. Every day.
