Emma got her dad, grandpa and dog to all dress up to take her out Trick or Treating tonight.

After they went out, Laura and I caught a ride with Kris and Karen out to JJ and Jenn’s place for a Halloween… thing.

Emma decided a couple weeks ago that she was going to be Spider-Girl for Halloween. It was either that or one of the Disney Princesses and my sister and I convinced her that Spider-Girl was cooler.

Today I finished The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and it was superb. The touch screen controls are excellent. Moving around using them was odd at first but once I (quickly) got used to it, it was just as good as using a d-pad. Drawing on the map to solve more complex puzzles and drawing [...]

Laura and I were productive today. Now that everything has been painted, we put the doorknobs onto our bedroom and bathroom doors (yay privacy again!) and then we built two Ikea bookshelves Louise and Geoff have had sitting around in boxes since we arrived. Now we have space to put clothes. Bonus!

The night before his wedding, JJ gave me a lighter as a thank-you for being a groomsmen. I had picked it out with him days earlier and then he went and had it engraved.
