Went out and saw ‘American Gangster’ tonight with Kris, JJ and Jenn. It was a pretty damn good movie. Not my favourite genre but still highly enjoyable. Very long, though. They could have cut out 30-40 minutes of Russell Crowe and it would have been better. Sure, establish that he wasn’t just some ordinary cop, show the beginnings of the DEA, and move on with things. The movie was about Denzel Washington’s character. Focus on him!
