Figured I’d give a brief tour of the apartment from one end to the other…

Ensuite to the master bedroom. Also brown, to match.
Living room with fireplace, tiny TV and hand-me-down [...]

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
I really love Umbrella Chronicles as something fun that isn’t tough to play casually with friends when they’re over. All the same, the Zero Punctuation review is awesome:
The review does a good job of it all. The graphics are good and it takes itself really seriously, while I find I enjoy it [...]

OMG, have you seen The 5 Most Horrifying Bugs in the World? I can’t decide if I should recommend it or warn you about it. I guess you can make that choice for yourself.
Seriously, I don’t know which is worse, the pictures or the videos…
[I chose to display the most tame of the bugs out [...]

Prism: Light the Way
The plot they came up with for the game is stupid, but it isn’t needed: Prism is a great puzzle game… that just happens to have the easiest first 20 levels in existence. After those silly tutorial levels, the difficulty really ramps up and by the end it’s pretty challenging.

Now, Laura’s a big fan of reality shows. The trashier, the better so we’ve been loosely following the Miss [...]

Things I learned this week… 1. CF Mineral Research: Owned by Chuck Fipke – the Canadian who discovered diamonds in the North-West Territories. 2. His divorce settlement was the largest in Canada because they were married before his diamond discoveries made him a multimillionaire. Haven’t met the man yet, though I hear he comes in [...]

Nip/Tuck
5×10 – Magda and Jeff
Gina’s always been a fun character but also a little bit crazy. Between her being crazy and her being a sex addict, Christian really could never tear himself away from her. That last scene, with her whispering to him as he thrusted her over the ledge of the building during sex? [...]

Wow, I can’t believe how complex the upcoming TF2 class changes are going to be. Totally unexpected but awesome.
Also, my ancient N64 shirt is finally going away.

…from my sister-in-law, Karlene, regarding the new job:
How exciting! I am teaching a unit on the Earth’s crust and we just finished a part about rocks and minerals. My students were wondering how companies look for and get minerals out of rocks. Now I can tell them about your job. All [...]
