Tonight I tried Second Life and was shocked by how passé the graphics are. I haven’t played a game that ugly since before GL-Quake. It had a lot of performance issues, too. I’ve played games that are miles ahead in terms of graphics but that run infinitely smoother. It’s pretty pathetic.

It kind of makes Laura and I apprehensive, though. They claim is doesn’t require any genetic manipulation but a happy bath in grape-flavoured water seems too… easy.
