My Lord, the power supply: PC Power & Cooling Silencer Quad 750W ATX SLI Active. 750 watts(!) and it mounts in the bottom of the case, which is cool. I like it farther away from the CPU’s heat. It was the PSU that Maximum PC put in their Dream Machine last year. So, that’s impressive. But it comes with the test reading printout from the power testing and QC it underwent before leaving the factory, showing the voltages and tolerances or whatever. + it has an nvidia SLI sticker/logo on it = bonus points.
I got an XFX GeForce 9800GTX video card and it’s a monster. It stretches to within a few mm of the HDD cage. I’ve never had a GPU that took up two PCI(-E) slots before. It’s got a really big fan on it and it takes two of the 6-pin PCI-E power cables. Two!
Oh, and RAM that not only has a built-on heat sync but also a 3-fan assembly overtop? Ridiculous.
