Job update for those wondering: It’s going well. It keeps me busy. It’s nothing that requires my brain but it does use the lab-specific skills I picked up in my labs at school, and I did enjoy those activities in school. So as a thing to do all day to earn money, it’s easy and [...]

Further surprising insights from the Wii:
For some reason I was under the impression that I was in the minority by choosing to sleep on my side most of the time. It just seemed more comfortable than on my back. At least, it used to. Since we got the new, giant bed I’ve found that it’s [...]

Had the guys over to “play games” tonight. In reality though, Matt Rigby, JJ, Kris and I were mostly in it for the human interaction so we played less than we talked and generally hung out. Matt wanted to show us the MANtage…
…which was good, but certainly no Mother’s Day:
All this video watching was done [...]

If you only read one more entry of mine this month, make it this one. And if you like to just skim entries, at least watch the first video.
A warning: The first minute of this is very boring but it gets much better.
Of course, there are others. The most notable has fit girls:
Still, I find [...]

Figured I’d give a brief tour of the apartment from one end to the other…
Master bedroom. Originally this room had some ugly blue and white striped pattern covering the wall at the head of the bed but we went brown.
Ensuite to the master bedroom. Also brown, to match.
Living room with fireplace, tiny TV and hand-me-down [...]

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
I really love Umbrella Chronicles as something fun that isn’t tough to play casually with friends when they’re over. All the same, the Zero Punctuation review is awesome:
The review does a good job of it all. The graphics are good and it takes itself really seriously, while I find I enjoy it [...]

OMG, have you seen The 5 Most Horrifying Bugs in the World? I can’t decide if I should recommend it or warn you about it. I guess you can make that choice for yourself.
Seriously, I don’t know which is worse, the pictures or the videos…
[I chose to display the most tame of the bugs out [...]

So I get to listen to music at work all day, which is cool. Seems that I listen to podcasts most of the day and music after lunch, closer to the end of my day.
Completely different:
The compound name made of 3 awesome names.

Prism: Light the Way
The plot they came up with for the game is stupid, but it isn’t needed: Prism is a great puzzle game… that just happens to have the easiest first 20 levels in existence. After those silly tutorial levels, the difficulty really ramps up and by the end it’s pretty challenging.
The first levels [...]

After spending two and a half hours waiting for a simple oil change this afternoon for which we had an appointment, our brains fried, Laura and I found ourselves watching the Miss America Live show this evening.
Now, Laura’s a big fan of reality shows. The trashier, the better so we’ve been loosely following the Miss [...]
