Last day at Heidt. Not much to say. This place has been falling apart for a while and there’s no one left now to pick up the pieces. No one stuck around to the end. My boss [...]

This morning my Wii’s CD tray was glowing bright blue. Sexy. I knew already that it did that when you had messages but it was still cool to see.
My second last day at Heidt today and someone tried to guilt trip me on the phone about how they weren’t getting the two desks they ordered. [...]

I left work at noon today for my face-to-face interview. It was kind of weird that the the president of the company and my boss were there as I left to wish me luck on my interview at another company. Such weird times I find myself in.
So my Rogers interview was in three parts. It [...]

Back to work today. It sure was nice to have a week off, even if I was only paid for a few of the days. Nice to have time away from the sinking-ship-company and the uncertain job future.
Well, we’ll see what 2007 holds.

Star decided not to buy us so today Heidt Products went into receivership.
Why did they decide not to? No one knows for sure. Things seemed pretty definite so something must have spooked them. Either that or they realized it was a bad idea.
The instructions I was given this morning were, “Don’t process the new orders [...]

I’d talk about work, but there’s not much to say that I’m not bored of already. The head person from Star talked to us today and said that they have put in an offer that has been accepted. Everything will be official and done with as of Monday and they’re planning on keeping us all [...]

I. At the beginning of the day, my manager told me that I should ignore all customer calls except for pricing questions - because otherwise we really have nothing to tell anyone. Supposedly, “we’ll know more in a couple days,” but that’s the same thing they’ve been saying for a while now. I guess the [...]
