10 Years has a new single out, which is excellent.

Presumably this means they have a new album coming out, which I’m looking forward to. Their sound reminds me a bit of A Perfect Circle, which is a good sound. Though from the new song, perhaps a bit different this album. We’ll see.

Today I had an interview for a company that analyzes mineral samples for mining companies: Breaking the rock sample down and looking for diamond indicators, also sometimes gold and other precious metals.
They gave me an in-depth tour during which I tried to convince them I wasn’t overqualified and would be fine starting at the bottom [...]

I left work at noon today for my face-to-face interview. It was kind of weird that the the president of the company and my boss were there as I left to wish me luck on my interview at another company. Such weird times I find myself in.

Back to work today. It sure was nice to have a week off, even if I was only paid for a few of the days. Nice to have time away from the sinking-ship-company and the uncertain job future.
Well, we’ll see what 2007 holds.

I got a bottle of wine today at work; a Cabernet Franc. The metal recycling place we use (they pay us for our scrap, so therefore they still like us since we don’t owe them anything) brought in 4 bottles of wine for us as a Christmas gift.
