If you only read one more entry of mine this month, make it this one. And if you like to just skim entries, at least watch the first video.
A warning: The first minute of this is very boring but it gets much better.

Of course, there are others. The most notable has fit girls:

Still, I find [...]

Tonight, in sorting through all my music, I deleted somewhere between 150 and 200 songs from my iTunes music library. When I have so many great songs, it’s hard to justify keeping stupid, silly stuff like the theme to Mission: Impossible. Or an entire album (ie. Prodigy’s Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned) when there’s only one [...]

Raine Maida’s new solo album, The Hunters Lullaby, is out and if you’re wondering if it’s worth getting into, I’d say you should watch the video for the first single…

Now, I know in the past some of my friends (Joe) have had problems with artists who move on from being in a band to being [...]

Kris, Matt Rigby and I caught Matthew Good in concert tonight.
Natasha Alexandra was the opening act and she was pretty good. She seemed to interact with the crowd pretty well and the three of us liked her sound.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the M. Good portion of the concert because it was just [...]

Oh, I’m not going to actually review the new album or anything.

[Yes, I'm behind in reading - I'm surprised I even read the paper at all. Today I read this month's and last month's issues of Nintendo Power. I had finished Phantom Hourglass by the time I got around to reading the review of it!]
Apparently [...]

Radiohead announced on their site today that their new album, their 7th full-length one, I believe, will be released on October 10th (same day as the Orange box - exciting day!!).
The most interesting parts to note are that it will only be available to buy and download on their site with no physical retail release [...]

On our drive back up to Kelowna this afternoon, Laura and I listened to the CD JJ burned copies of for everyone as a wedding favour. It starts out with the song they walked down the isle to, right after they were married, and ends with the song they had their first dance to. The [...]

After having listened to it a lot, I definitely love the new Matthew Good album. It is yet another album where every days or two it seems like I “discover” how awesome a different song is and get obsessed with it for a couple days.
It’s weird too because the subject matter of many tracks often [...]

The new Matthew Good album, Hospital Music, came out at midnight tonight (aka, right on the 31st) on the iTunes music store and I grabbed it right away. Upon first listen, it is quite excellent.

I finished reading Hybrids a little while ago and it was alright. Not as good as the first book of [...]

I can’t believe this weekend was only a standard weekend: It feels like I did too much to fit into the days that it did. But it was a pretty awesome birthday weekend.
I really love the current Metric single, the title-track from the “new” album, Grow Up and Blow Away. I meant to mention this [...]
