Today, without any lead-up advertisement or even announcement, Nine Inch Nails released a new album, The Slip. They’ve posted it as a free download on their website. There are plans to release a physical disc version later on that can be purchased in stores, but it’s damn awesome of Trent Reznor to do this.
As happy [...]

10 Years has a new single out, which is excellent.
Presumably this means they have a new album coming out, which I’m looking forward to. Their sound reminds me a bit of A Perfect Circle, which is a good sound. Though from the new song, perhaps a bit different this album. We’ll see.

Daft Punk is Playing at My House is a great song but every time I hear it, want to be at that party! I’m pretty sure the fabled McLovin’ would be there, too…

Nine Inch Nails released a new instrumental album on their website yesterday. They’re done with their previous record contract and released this independantly on their website for $5, DRM-free.
So I had to buy it on principle alone. I mean, it’s new NIN so I want to hear it and would gladly pay [...]

Interesting, it’s still tough to listen to Sia’s song Breath Me without thinking about the ending of Six Feet Under and then getting choked up. Of course, then I also start thinking about the last half of the final season and really want to rewatch the whole show again. Damn that was a good series. [...]

If you only read one more entry of mine this month, make it this one. And if you like to just skim entries, at least watch the first video.
A warning: The first minute of this is very boring but it gets much better.
Of course, there are others. The most notable has fit girls:
Still, I find [...]

Tonight, in sorting through all my music, I deleted somewhere between 150 and 200 songs from my iTunes music library. When I have so many great songs, it’s hard to justify keeping stupid, silly stuff like the theme to Mission: Impossible. Or an entire album (ie. Prodigy’s Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned) when there’s only one [...]

Raine Maida’s new solo album, The Hunters Lullaby, is out and if you’re wondering if it’s worth getting into, I’d say you should watch the video for the first single…
Now, I know in the past some of my friends (Joe) have had problems with artists who move on from being in a band to being [...]

One of NBC’s new shows this season is Life. We’re a bit behind on watching our PVR recordings here, so we only just now watched the Farthingale episode from a couple weeks ago.
Unexpectedly, I really like Life. The main character is awesome, his friend/roommate is pretty cool, his partner’s kind of hot and the music [...]
